Cyrus Tabari specializes in the defense of hospitals, physicians and other health care providers in litigation cases ranging from personal injury to staff privileges to employment issues. Over the years he has handled hundreds of cases covering a wide range of medical and nursing specialties and issues. He has tried cases in nearly every Bay Area county and in 1992 tried the first case in Santa Clara County, and was the first medical malpractice case in the county, to be televised by the Court T.V. network.
Mr. Tabari received his Bachelor of Arts degree from U.C.L.A. in 1983 and his law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1987. He was also awarded an M.B.A. from the Santa Clara University Graduate School of Business in 1988.
Mr. Tabari is a member of the litigation section of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Northern District and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Claims Court in Washington D.C. He serves as an arbitrator for Santa Clara County. He is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, the Defense Research Institute and the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys. He is also a former member of the Santa Clara County Medical Society Public Service Committee. He is a frequent lecturer at hospital, physician, and insurance industry events and has given talks accredited by the California Nursing Board for continuing credit.
